What is sushi/conveyor belt sushi?

Sushi or conveyor belt sushi is a restaurant concept where plates and freshly made sushi are placed on a rotating conveyor belt and navigated through each customer in the restaurant. Once diners see a dish they want to eat, they simply take it off the conveyor belt, collect the dish, and submit the final bill.
